The Semaphore Singers will be doing backing vocals for Tony Newport, Richard Wolfe, and Peter Winskill (AKA The Bards of Boko) in Queenstown on the Saturday, 23rd November. The concert is called "In A Miner's House". Tony will be playing his unique Bradshaw Autoharp and Richard & Peter will bring poetry and big baritone voices.
It will be an afternoon of songs, story, and poetry inspired by living on the West Coast of Tasmania.
The Bradshaw Mill, mining, the harsh but beautiful environment.
Tales of transport: the Green Coach Line, Wee Georgie Wood
Whimsical reminiscences of working life in an industry town.
A celebration of the spirit of the resilient West Coast people.
Warm nostalgic songs of growing up "In A Miner's House"
